Guest host Tom Gjelten of NPR talks with Ambassador Chris Hill, now dean of the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, about the shifting dynamics between the US and North Korea, and then, a conversation with Alan Wolfe of Boston College about how some religious groups now pressing for religious freedom and tax payer money were once leading advocates of the separation between church and state.

In “From the Archives” this week, a story of a man who escaped a North Korean labor camp. In 2012, Tom Gjelten spoke with journalist Blaine Harden who told how Shin Dong-Hyuk miraculously managed to find a way out from “Camp 14”.
