“Boys and sex.” That’s the title of the new book by best-selling author Peggy Orenstein.

For decades Orenstein has written about the confusing messages society gives girls about everything from wearing pink and looking pretty, to how they should think about rape, pregnancy and sexual pleasure.

In her latest work, she turns her attention to young men. She spoke to more than one hundred boys to hear their views on hookup culture, relationships, porn, and navigating what she calls “the new masculinity.”
